Bucknell Brothers Group was established in 1980 to promote the concept of a new business park in South Reading and Pingemead House was converted for its offices. A new Management & Marketing suite, called Smallmead Gate, was then built alongside Pingemead House for the business park developers, Prudential.
The business park is now known as Green Park, and is now one of the most prestigious business parks in the South.

The two buildings, Pingemead House and Pingemead Gate now contain serviced offices and are run together as Pingemead Business Centre with the management on site.
